Here, startups have direct access to investors, accelerators, venture capital funds and executives from leading companies in various sectors, with a special focus on the Creative Industry. More than just an exhibition space, the Rio2C Startup Market is a strategic meeting point for generating business, partnerships and fostering innovation in Brazil.
The Startup Pitching at Rio2C 2025 is a unique opportunity for startups with innovative solutions focused on the Creative Industry. Our goal is to connect these companies with angel investors, venture capitalists and executives from large companies in the sector, facilitating access to capital, strategic partnerships and new business opportunities. The Pitching will be divided into three verticals:
Who Can Participate?
Startups in the 'Early stage' or 'Growth stage': We are looking for startups in the operational or traction phase that are ready to raise investment, scale their operations and provide strategic solutions to the main companies in the Creative Industry.
Headquarters in Brazil: Participating startups must be formally established in Brazil, with a team dedicated to business development, strengthening the national ecosystem of innovation and creativity.
Pitching date: May 28-30, 2025
Location: Creator Square
Registration Period: Registration is free and can be completed from 9:00 am on February 3, 2025, and will remain open until 11:59 pm on February 21, 2025, Brasília time.
Only one registration will be accepted per participating individual and/or legal entity, as long as it fits into one of the Verticals of the Creative Economy of Rio2C 2025..
Registration Process: Participants must submit their project, providing all required information in the registration form on the Rio2C website, and submit the information for analysis and selection by the Startup Commission.
Only "Early Stage and Growth Stage" startups—those in the operational and/or traction phase—will be accepted, provided they are based in Brazil with a dedicated business development team.
Registering projects does not guarantee their presentation at the 2025 Event.
Selection and Award Format:
Presentation and Evaluation: On the day of their presentation at RIO2C, participants selected for the Startup Pitching must check in at least 30 minutes before the start of the Pitching session, at Creator Square, Cidade das Artes, Rio de Janeiro.
Audiovisual equipment will be provided for the presentation. Participants should bring all necessary materials for their presentation and send them to Rio2C organizers by May 13, 2025, for testing.
Each startup will have 5 minutes for the pitch, followed by 7 minutes of questions from the judging panel.
Credentials:
Selected startups will receive 1 CREATOR credential + 1 DAYPASS (for an accompanying person to attend the pitch day). Additional credentials for team members and guests can be purchased here: https://www.rio2c.com/tickets
In addition to direct business opportunities in Business Rounds and Pitchings, Rio2C connects attendees with top industry professionals.
The main objective is to enable participants to expand their network and knowledge, offering valuable spaces for experience-sharing.

Meetup for Creator and Industry credentials at Creator Square.
Dynamic: Exclusive meeting with market executives. Opportunity to attend a more exclusive meeting with a strategic company in the Brazilian and/or international startup market. The objective is to provide a more direct, in-depth and strategic exchange between participants and major market players. Gain insights, learn about industry trends and take advantage of it as a strategic channel for networking and future partnerships.
Format: Interview or keynote.
Duration: 30 minutes.
