The PitchingShow is an essential celebration of the music industry and a unique platform for emerging talents.

Selected by influential music curators, eight promising artists present their work to a diverse panel. This event is aimed at artists ready for success and prepared to take the next step in their careers.

Selection

• 20 executives pre-select 40 artists..

• The 5 most voted artists are the ones approved to perform in person on the Rio2C 2025 stage

Presentation

• The 5 artists most voted by the public + the 03 artists invited by Rio2C's artistic direction will perform at Rio2C 2025
• Total number of performances: 8
• The shows take place from May 27 to 30, 2025, at the Rio2C Stage

• Each artist performs a 30-minute pocket show for the committee, the panel and the creative industry ecosystem

The Music Business Rounds are an exclusive and dynamic space for one-to-one meetings, in speed networking format. The aim is to connect artists, entrepreneurs and bookers with important players in the music market (record labels, aggregators, publishers and stages - festivals, concert halls and contractors). Each registrant can select up to three executives they want to meet, while the executives choose the candidates they are most interested in.

As well as promoting networking between qualified market professionals, this format offers an ideal environment for direct negotiations and the formation of strategic partnerships.

Format: Individual meetings

• The meetings last 20 minutes each;
• They take place at Rio2c between May 28 and 30 at Cidade das Artes;

Duration: 20 minutes per meeting

Selection: Each player chooses between 3 and 6 applicants to meet.

Matchmaking

My Rio2C is Rio2C's exclusive system that allows, through an automatic matchmaking system, registered projects to be connected to players who are looking for exactly the type of content on offer.

Participants select up to three (3) profiles of executives with whom they would like to hold one-to-one meetings and the companies they want to talk to;

Selection:

• Registration does not guarantee a meeting.
• Once the participant has selected who they would like to meet with, they must submit the proposal and objective sought by the meeting to the chosen players, who may or may not confirm the meeting, based on the synergy between the proposal and their business opportunities available at that time.

Selected participants receive online consultancy with music business experts from different areas, to help them prepare for the meetings.

In addition to the direct business opportunities at the Business Rounds and Pitchings, Rio2C connects the public to the main professionals in the market through meetings with mentors from different areas, masterclasses, workshops and more intimate content. The main objective is to enable participants to boost their networking and improve their knowledge, providing opportunities for learning and sharing experiences that contribute significantly to the development of their careers and projects.
