VERÔNICA HIPÓLITO

Verônica Hipólito is a Brazilian Paralympic athlete and world champion in athletics, with medals at the Paralympic Games in Rio in 2016 and in Paris in 2024 and in several international championships. Founder and president of the Naurú team, she promotes sport in all its manifestations for all bodies, especially people with disabilities. She has overcome great challenges such as a stroke, multiple surgeries to remove brain tumors, and fights for a world with inclusion and accessibility for all people.
