Graduated in journalism and with a master's degree in television scriptwriting, Juliana began her career at Conspiração Filmes and Rede Globo, but soon after decided to dedicate herself to the contemporary art market and went to work alongside her mother, Silvia Cintra, one of Brazil's leading gallery owners. Together they run Galeria Silvia Cintra + Box 4 in Rio de Janeiro and are responsible for representing important names in Brazilian art such as Nelson Leirner, Amilcar de Castro, Sebastião Salgado, Miguel Rio Branco, among others. In addition to her work as a gallery owner, Juliana is a member of the ArtRio fair selection committee and vice president of ABACT.
