Flávia Vieira
Screenwriter and Journalist
Flávia Vieira is an Afro-Brazilian screenwriter and journalist. She has been writing a fictionalized biography of gymnast Daiane dos Santos, the first Brazilian to win gold at a World Gymnastics Championship. The project, which she created, is being produced by Maria Farinha Filmes. This year, she debuts as a director with the short film São as Regras. She wrote the docuseries Linhas Negras, directed by Susanna Lira and the show Diálogos GNT - Isso é Coisa de Preta, directed by Natara Ney. She co-created and hosted the podcast Se Não Me Falha a Memória, which won the 2022 Sebrae Journalism Award. In 2024, she was the editorial coordinator for the Audible Original Series Chumbo & Soul.
