Igor Verde is a storyteller from a terreiro in Complexo do Alemão. He directed the program "Zorra", the first season of the series "Filhos da Pátria". He wrote "Lazinho com Você" and the 2021 "Falas Negras". He also created, wrote and directed the series "Reencarne", released at the 2025 Berlin festival. He wrote the series "Os 4 da Candelária". He supervised the script for the series "O Negociador". He created the series "Cidade de Deus: A Luta não Paa" (MAX | 2024), directed the series "Capoeiras" and created the series "Fúria", for Netflix. In the cinema, he wrote "Continente" (2024), "Ó Paí, ó 2" (2023) and "Bicho monstro ". His first book, "Viralizou", was a finalist for the 2023 Jabuti award.
