Marcelo Damaso is the director, programer and founder of Se Rasgum Produções, the agency responsible for the festivals 'Se Rasgum' , ‘ ALMA - Amazônia Legal Música & Arte’ and 'Sonido – Instrumental & Experimental Music', which take place in Belém do Pará. The festivals are two of the main stages for music coming from the brazilian Amazon. He is also a musician, journalist, writer and vinyl collector.
