MC Carol is a Latin Grammy nominated singer, actress and songwriter and one of the biggest names in Brazilian Funk. Starting her career in the early 2010’s with humorous hit songs like “Minha Vó Tá Maluca” and “Meu Namorado é Maior Otário”, she became well known to the general public when in “Lucky Ladies” in 2015. The following year, she released “Bandida”, her first studio album, gaining notoriety by singing themes such as the real life in Rio’s favelas, sexuality and feminism. In recent years, the artist has toured and has lectured in the US, UK and Europe;In addition to her music, she went viral with guest appearances on TV shows and also on the acclaimed crime series “Impuros"
