The raw sensitivity and Amazonian-rooted lyricism of Victor Garcia make Victor Xamã one of the first names that come to mind when thinking of Northern Brazilian rap. Born in Manaus, he carved his path in the independent rap scene with critically and publicly acclaimed works such as Janela (2015), his debut album, followed by V.E.C.G (2017), the visionary EP Calor (2021), and his latest album, Garcia (2023). Victor embodies the duality of green and gray, where the industrial metropolis of Manaus meets the vast, sacred depths of the Amazon rainforest. A Xamã whose greatest medicine is rhythm and poetry.
