Director

Rodrigo Aragão, filmmaker and special effects maker, has 30 years of experience and is recognized as one of Brazil's top specialists in practical effects. Leading Fábulas Filmes, he wrote and directed films such as Mangue Negro, A Noite do Chupacabras, Mar Negro, As Fábulas Negras, A Mata Negra, O Cemitério das Almas Perdidas, and Prédio Vazio. He is currently in pre-production for Folclórica, his first children’s film. With 34 awards and over 125 festival appearances, his works blend horror and folklore, highlighting the culture of Espírito Santo and projecting Brazilian aesthetics on the international stage.
