Creative Director and Founder
Nataal Media / Galerie Gomis
Marie Gomis-Trezise, born into a Senegalese family in Marseille, is a creative director, curator, and cultural advocate. As France’s first Black A&R executive at a major record company, she discovered and nurtured musical talent. Her passion for shaping artists’ sound and image led her to photography. In 2016, she founded Galerie Number 8, now Galerie Gomis, a gallery amplifying voices from the African diaspora and the Global South. It has showcased artists like Campbell Addy, David Uzochukwu, Mous Lamrabat, and Djeneba Aduayom at major events around the globe. Marie also serves as creative director of Nataal, a global media celebrating contemporary African fashion, music, art, and culture.
