El Deseo

Esther García, born in Segovia, is the executive producer of El Deseo. Throughout her more than 50-year career she has produced all of director Pedro Almodóvar's films since Matador. Her career as a producer also includes collaborations with Guillermo del Toro, Isabel Coixet, Lucrecia Martel, Diego Galán, Pablo Trapero, Felix Sabroso, Damián Szifron and Luis Ortega among others. His work was recognized on numerous occasions at the Goya Awards and also at the Oscars. In 2018 he received the National Cinematography Award. He is currently an active member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Spain and the Hollywood Film Academy.
