The Rocinha Light Orchestra emerges as an innovative initiative with significant cultural and social impact in Rio de Janeiro. Created with the aim of promoting local development and social inclusion through music, the orchestra offers young musicians from Rocinha and other communities the opportunity for high-quality musical training, while also generating work and income for the region. Composed of 45 musicians, the majority of whom come from favelas and marginalized areas, the orchestra stands out not only for the quality of its performances but also for its transformative role in the lives of its members.

The year 2025 was the biggest edition ever: six days of creativity, innovation and transformative connections. We brought together influential voices from Brazil and the world in a vibrant environment of exchange, learning and opportunities.
