Created by entrepreneurs from the trade of goods, services and tourism, Sesc - Serviço Social do Comércio - is a private non-profit organization with social responsibility at its core. Our aim is to provide well-being and quality of life. In the state of Rio de Janeiro it operates through 21 Operational Units, 6 Hotel Units, 3 Sesc Restaurants, 11 snack bars, 4 bistros, 2 theaters and 2 cafeterias, in 13 municipalities in the state of Rio de Janeiro. In addition, our 12 Mobile Units (BiblioSesc, OdontoSesc and Sesc Saúde Mulher) operate in various municipalities. Its areas of activity are Assistance, Health, Sport, Leisure, Tourism and Education
