Abrafin

ABRAFIN is one of the most important associations in Brazilian music and plays a key role in the development of public policies and actions to strengthen festivals since its creation in 2005. Since resuming its activities in 2020, it has been an important mediator with state cultural departments. Festivals now integrate and advocate, as a united force, for actions in favor of the independent festival sector driven by the entity: discussions around public and private funding; the promotion of festivals and organized efforts around the common issues that unite us; dialogues and negotiations within institutional frameworks; among others.
