Founded in 1991 by Fernando Meirelles, Paulo Morelli, and Andrea Barata Ribeiro, O2 Filmes is one of Brazil's most important production companies, developing independent projects and partnerships with major international studios. With more than 20 feature films in its portfolio, including successes like "City of God", "Blindness", and "Marighella". For TV, the company has produced acclaimed series such as "The Wise Ones", "Joint Venture", and "Brotherhood", as well as "Cangaço Novo", and the recent hit "City of God - The Fight Goes On". Currently, the company prepares the premieres of "Raul Seixas" on Globoplay, the feature film "Corrida dos Bichos" on Prime Video, and the series "Pssica" on Netflix.
