Sara Loiola is from Bahia (Brazil) and is based in Brasília. She is a music curator, cultural manager, and is currently the President of ABRAFIN (Brazilian Association of Independent Festivals). She is also the Director of Aruwá Produções and the creator of two music festivals: Yalodê (an international festival of black female singers) and Rojão de Brasília (a traditional Brazilian music festival with a focus on “forró”). She has been working in the music market for 18 years.
