TV Globo

Thais Pontes is a Brazilian author from Rio de Janeiro. She is the creator and screenwriter of the series “Encantado’s” (Globo), which is heading into its third season and has won the 2022 APCA Award for Best Comedy Series and the 2023 ABRA Award. She was also a screenwriter for the shows “Escolinha do Professor Raimundo”, “Zorra”, and is part of the team behind the segment “Mulheres Fantásticas”. Thais is one of the writers of the film “Coisa De Novela”. She authored the play “Hidro” and “Mãe Baiana”. Thais also participated in the “Cria Globo - 19h” workshop, focused on the development of telenovela writers. She is the winner of the 2023 ABRA Award for Screenwriter of the Year.
