Estevão Ciavatta is an award-winning director, screenwriter and producer who graduated in Cinema at UFF-RJ, and believes that stories have the power to mobilize people and transform realities.
He is a founding partner of Pindorama Filmes, the first Carbon Neutral Brazilian company in the audiovisual industry and a reference in social and environmental issues.
Ciavatta has directed dozens of television shows, including the award-winning A FOOT OF WHAT? and CENTRAL DA PERIFERIA, both shown on TV GLOBO – Brazil, in addition to the award-winning films NELSON SARGENTO NO MORRO DA MANGUEIRA and AMAZÔNIA SOCIEDADE ANÔNIMA, One World Media Award 2021. For HBO, he created, directed and produced the series PREAMAR, official selection of Biarritz Festival, and SANTOS = DUMONT, winner of the Telly Awards Entertainment and Cinematography.
Estevão also led the “Dá Pé” crowdfunding campaign, one of the 10 largest in Brazil, which mobilized 7 million people to plant 36,000 trees and won the Hugo Werneck Sustainability Award for restoring springs and riparian forests in the Atlantic Forest.
