Alberto Alvares

Alberto Alvares, has a master’s degree in the Postgraduate Program in Audiovisual Cinema at the Fluminense Federal University – PPGCINE. (Niterói – RJ – 2019). Graduated in Intercultural Degree for Indigenous Educators, from the Faculty of Education of Federal University of Minas Gerais.

Indigenous filmmaker from the Guarani Nhandewa ethnic group, born in the village Porto Lindo, Mato Grosso do Sul, and is also a teacher and translator of Guarani. He has lived in Rio de Janeiro since 2010, a period in which he began to dedicate himself to audiovisual as director and trainer.
