The current CEO of the Brazilian Composers Union, the leading PRO in Brazil, is a 35 year veteran of the music business. He has helped the Brazilian music industry to grow within the country and abroad, particularly in South America, Spain and Portugal. Marcelo is currently the Chairman of the Board of Cisac. He has also lead companies and artists to overcome the barriers and make profit in the digital environment and new business models. Marcelo has acted as President at Universal Music Brasil, Southern Cone and Iberian Peninsula, and at EMI Music Brasil, South and Central America. He is also member of the Latin Grammy's Board.
