Nicole Jefferson Asher has earned numerous credits writing for both film and television, having created projects for Netflix, Fox, Warner Brothers, HBO, Lifetime, Showtime and Lionsgate. Recent credits include creating the Netflix limited series Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam CJ Walker starring Octavia Spencer in the title role. She also co-executive produced The First Lady starring Viola Davis and Michelle Pfeiffer. Currently Nicole serves as co-executive producer on P-Valley, the hit series on Starz created by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright, Katori Hall and is also on faculty at The School of Cinematic Arts at USC.
