Niv Fichman founded Rhombus Media in 1979 and over the years the company has become Canada’s preeminent producer of theatrical feature films and high-end television drama. Currently, Mr. Fichman is producing The Sympathizer, a 7-part series for A24 and HBO, based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, directed by Park-Chan-wook and starring Robert Downey Jr. His past film projects include The Red Violin, Last Night, Clean, Blindness, Hobo with a Shotgun, Antiviral, Zoom, Thirty Two Short Films about Glenn Gould, Enemy and Possessor / and for television, Slings & Arrows, Sensitive Skin and Yo-Yo Ma: Inspired by Bach.
