Ana Luiza Nunes Azevedo

Director and screenwriter - Member of Casa de Cinema Production Company. She has written and directed several films, including the features THROUGH ERNESTO'S EYES (2019) and BEFORE THE WORLD ENDS (2010), the doc WHO PRIMAVERA DAS NEVES IS (2017); the shorts THREE MINUTES (Official Selection Cannes-2000) and BARBOSA (Best Short CUBA-1989). She directed and wrote the serie SWEET MOTHER (TV GLOBO, EMMY for Best Comedy/2015), STATES OF GRACE (HBO/2010), DECAMERÃO (GLOBO/2009), ONLY FOR LOVE (NETFLIX/2022) and DR4G0N (Globoplay/2024). She coordinated the CCPA's creative team and gived consults for many script labs. She is currently finishing the feature MEDLEY and in pre-production for the doc COLIGAY.
