Cecilia Amado

Director and screenwriter CECILIA AMADO began her cinematographic career in 1995 and has made a name for herself on the sets of major productions such as ‘Four Days in September’ and ‘Canudos’ . Before becoming a director, she worked as an assistant director for 15 years in cinema and on TV Globo. She is in charge of the production company Tenda dos Milagres, with the proposal to dialogue with the universe of children and youth, social issues and contemporary women. She directed and scripted films such as My Queen, Captains of the Sands, Where the dreams sleep, Emotional Storm and Beauty at Night and series such as Da Manga Rosa, Meu Irmão Nerd and Toda Menina Baiana.
